I just realised that this Sunday coming is the charity Three Counties Cycle Ride which Ben & I entered ourselves in for a while ago. For some reason I'd thought it was at the end of June!
Long range weather forecast is giving out for "effing hot man" so better pack extra water even though our start time is 8.10am.
As Corporal Jones would say "Don't panic Captain!"

ReplyDeleteWhen i'm doing a long ride in hot conditions I tend to make a note of where the local petrol stations and supermarkets are along the route so I can stop and re-top up my water bottles. This saves me carrying loads or worrying about running out.
I'm sure they'll be water available on an organised ride.
